Description

    • ThePharmacy Clinical Manager is responsible for developing clinical PharmaceuticalCare services in the Hospital and in associated ambulatory care services. The Pharmacy Clinical Manager guides andreviews the daily pharmacy practice activities of pharmacists involved indelivering pharmaceutical care services.
    • TheManager designs, implements and monitors patient-specific drug regimens inconcert with the medical staff, and maintains a personal clinical practiceconsistent with department service commitments and Saint Louis University Hospital practiceneeds. He/she coordinates the activitiesof pharmacist staff in the Pharmacy Practice Residency and shares responsibilityfor day-to-day supervision of Pharmacy Practice Residents.
    • ThePharmacy Clinical Manager is entrusted with highly confidential patient,business, and personnel data. A highdegree of ethics and confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

•BS in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy required. Doctor of Pharmacy and / or MBA preferred.

•Minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy experience with management experience. Five years of hospital experience with at least two years of hospital management experience preferred.

•The Pharmacy Operations Manager must be licensed as a pharmacist, or eligible for licensure, in Missouri.
